A Catalogue, Not a Collection
18 April 2026
We borrowed our sensibility from the record labels and literary imprints we grew up admiring — ECM, Blue Note, the plain cream spines of Gallimard. What we took wasn't a business model but a way of seeing: restraint, good paper, and a name on everything.
A collection is assembled and then dispersed. A catalogue stays. Each Lacande candle keeps its place for as long as it earns it — not a scent for a single season, but one you can come back to.
It changes how you choose, we think. You are not picking from a shelf so much as getting to know a small, growing family of scents, and waiting to see what comes next.
